Our team at Community Film Project is currently filming The Murder at the Lufferton Christmas Musical, and we’re inviting members of the Ogden and Washington Terrace, Utah community to join us for a live scene as background participants. This is a volunteer position.

This is a unique opportunity to step onto a real set, meet local filmmakers, and be part of a growing independent film movement in Northern Utah.

Utah has quickly become a hub for independent filmmaking, especially in areas like the Wasatch Front.

This is our second featured film, "Before Your Time" was our first Indie Film project. You can watch that on Tubi and YouTube TV.

We worked x10 harder on this film, and we hope it's the next project to put Utah on the map. Our script was built with a lot of care, and our cast was carefully selected.

We've been working on this project for approximately 2 years now, and we are set for a premiere Christmas 2027.

It feels like we are filming a TV show, because we are working around local talent's schedules. Unlike a typical set, we have slowly built every scene with a lot of attention to detail. We've been so thankful for everyone's time during this creative process.

Our next big scene will be a funeral scene!

The entire town has gathered to honor Dottie Bunkford (Played by Jacci Florence, owner of the Beverly's Plaza Play House.)

This scene will be a little emotional, so be prepared.
