In the small town of Lufferton, the annual Christmas musical isn’t just a show... it’s the theatre’s last chance to prove it still matters.

Shannon, the passionate director, has poured everything she has into making the production a success.

But on opening night, the celebration turns into chaos when Chad, a widely disliked cast member, suddenly plummets from the stage during the finale. What first appears to be a tragic accident quickly raises suspicion.

As a violent rainstorm traps the entire cast inside the theatre, Detective Redding, who has little patience for musicals, launches a tense investigation.

Long-buried secrets coming to light, every member of the eccentric theatre troupe becomes a suspect; Because somewhere among them… a killer is hiding.

Shannon Dosset

Dottie Bunkford discovered Shannon when she was young. Recognizing her raw talent and passion for storytelling, she took her under her wing. She taught her everything from stage direction to the nuances of bringing a community together through art. Dottie’s unwavering belief in her abilities inspired Shannon to pursue theater as her calling.

Played by Kara Jensen: With a background in Theatre Arts and a BS from Weber State University, she’s classically trained in vocal performance as well as Modern and Contemporary Musical Theatre. Memorable past roles include Lady Macduff in Macbeth , Emily in Our Town, The Samaritan Woman in He Is Jesus Christ, and the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical. At home, she’s happily surrounded by her three kids and her husband, Paxton-her biggest supporter and best partner.

Chad Bunkford

Chad sees Shannon as a direct threat to the theater. While he dismisses her leadership skills publicly, he is secretly intimidated by her dedication and competence. His attempts to undermine her authority often backfire, further alienating him from the cast and crew.

Played by William McAllister: Some of Will's recent roles include Peter Shaw in Lauren Gunderson's Silent Sky, Harpo Hart in Kirby Saxton's miniseries Four Kings, Farmer McGregor in Cherie Julander's Beatrix Potter Must Die, and the Pale Face Killer in Witching Season Films' most recent feature, He Never Left. Will is massively grateful to his incredible wife and best friend, Zel, for being ever-supportive as he runs about from film shoot to theater stage in order to scratch his storytelling itch.

Don Porter

Donald’s resentment towards Chad stems from his mother’s stories and Chad’s continued arrogance and mistreatment of their family. Ronald dislikes Chad so intensely that he refuses to look him in the eye, an attitude that reinforces Donald’s own mistrust and anger toward their uncle.

Played by Tom Glassman, ranked top 35 most in demand actors in Utah by the Utah Film Festival

Ron McArthur

Ronald’s relationship with his step-uncle Chad is one of constant antagonism. He blames Chad for ruining his basketball scholarship and enjoys exacting revenge through pranks.

Played by Reuben Cook: Although he's newer to the world of film acting, he has been passionately dedicated to performing arts for the majority of his 19 years. He has contributed his talents to plays, musicals, symphonies, philharmonic orchestras, choirs, dance productions, poetry nights, and punk shows. He has also done some work in videography, audio production, and managing social events. His greatest loves include cinema, creative expression, and learning to understand others.

Allison Langley

Allison’s fascination with conspiracies extends to the history of Lufferton itself. She believes the town was involved in secret government testing during the war and the Great Depression, and she suspects that the theater holds hidden secrets tied to these events. This belief fuels her motivation to stay and work at the theater, where she hopes to uncover evidence to validate her theories and build her social media followers.

Megan’s love for storytelling began in childhood, performing in Much Ado About Nothing, Princess What’s Her Name, and The Tempest. A devoted singer-songwriter, she’s been creating music since she was a kid and hopes to record and produce her own songs soon. Offstage, Megan loves hiking, survival adventures, art, and writing, and is currently working on her 1950s murder mystery novel, White Lies and Apple Pies. She’s pursuing her bachelor’s degree at BYU Provo, exploring Psychology, English, and Music.
